I have seen a video in which a senior custom officer was saying that half of this batch have completed the training process . The other half will initiate training from august. So, i hope that the remaining candidates will get a chance in august.

Passing out of new Customs appointees held in Karachi

Karachi: Passing out of new appointees of Pakistan Customs was held at Directorate General of Training in Karachi, an event which was attended by a large number of senior FBR officers.

As many as 429 customs officials were imparted academic/technical training at Directorate General of Training. These 429 include officials of eight collectorates including PCA, MCC Hyderabad, MCC Quetta, I&I, MCC Exports, Appraisement East, Appraisement West *and MCC Port Qasim

These 429 officials include 91 appraisers/valuation officers, 47 inspectors/intelligence officers, 129 Preventive officers, which had been appointed through FPSC. Around 179 newly appointed sepoys also participated in the passing out ceremony. Inspectors and Intelligence Officers are now sent to Police Training Center Razzakabad while sepoys will join training in Quetta.

Chief Guest was Rozi Khan Barki Member FBR. He said to the appointees that they were selected on merit as they had performed good job in the examination and also performed well during the training. Barki advised them to work with honesty and dedication as they were the future of the department.

Director General Training Robina Wasti speaking on the occasion said that despite extreme shortage of resources training was successfully completed. She informed *that training started on April 03, 2017 and today passing out was held. The three-month training include one month practical training at collectorates, while two months of academic training.

Nazim saleem Member Tribunal advised the new appointees that they were servants of the public and they should dedicate their energies for public and the country.

Director Training Zeba Azhar has achieved two significant milestones. First she completed the training of such a large batch despite resource constraints and secondly a full fledged library was established at the Directorate of Training, Karachi. She especially appreciated the resource persons for the training including Javed Ghani, Collector Appraisement West Shahnaz Maqbool, Collector Appraisement East Ashad Jawwad.

Zeba Azhar also appreciated the efforts of her team including Shafiq Latki, Amjad Aman, Noor Mohammad, Nabi Bux and Umair Ahmed.

Director Valuation Wasif Memon, Director PCA Gul Rehman, Director Transit Trade Ashraf Ali, Collector Exports Ahmed Mujtaba Memon, Director Training Lahore Ms. Saima and others attended the event.

Certificates were also distributed among the position holders.

Resource persons for the subject training included Mian Azhar Majeed, Javed Ghani, Iqbal Muneeb, Tahir Qureshi, Zeba Azhar, Shafique Latki, Amjad aman, Shamim Akhter, Dr. Zulfiqar and Noor Mohammad.

Earlier on June 15, 2017 Chairman FBR Dr. Irshad gave appreciations certificates to Rubina Wasti, Zeba Azhar, Shafiq Ahmed Latki, Amjad Aman, Noor Muhammad, Umair Ahmed and Nabi Bux on outstanding performance regarding this training.

Any update about waiting candidates of custom inspector?

2nd list of valuation/appraising has just been posted

That means list of custom inspector can be expected in near future.

Does anyoone have knowledge of 2nd list of inspector customs? i have heard that waiting list is valid till one year.Now one year period is complete but still no second list.
