Is it mandatory that FPSC will send regret letters to all non-qualifiers? I just wanted to know as I have never heard of regret letter..

I dont know much about it. It was my first interview in FPSC advertised job.

I think regret letter has nothing to do with the waiting list. Simply because FPSC did its part by selecting 200 Custom Inspectors and issued regret letters to the persons who were not selected. Now if the department has asked to announce the list of candidates who were next in line because 153 people have joined then FPSC is bound to announce that list.

I just called FPSC karachi office they told me that there is no difference if you get regret letter or not. If you are next in line in merit then your name will be considered.
