I have few queries, I will be obliged if someone answer these.

a. How much is the training duration? and in which city training will be carried out?
b. What is Take away salary while during training & after posting? I know its BPS 16 post with Performance allowance but i want to know exact amount including all allowances, perks & privileges if somebody knows. Pardon me for looking desperate but Actually, I have another good opportunity in Multinational Chemical engineering Company which is my field so i have to make a decision.

I'm also facing the same dilemma. I'm petroleum engineer working in ogdcl my future prospects are bright (as it seemed). any hint on salary packages?

if future prospects are bright as a petroleum engineer than you should not switch to customs.

Congratulations...
Candidates already selected as AVO and who don't want to continue with Inspector/intelligence officer are requested to write Refusal letter asap. So that it would take less time for FPSC to call candidates in waiting.

Its not clerical job dear. a junior auditor audit report ruined future of DPO police recently. A para levelled by auditor against any department or official can end into the removal of civil servant from his/her post, no matter how powerful he is. u didnt knw the power of audit n account department. those who goes through css didnt knw anything. its the junior, and senior auditors who are calling the shots in audit department. A powerful post indeed if someone is completely adept in audit and para rules.

O nahi bhae g... I dnt consider it a worthy job...its clerical in nature... However, its about one's appetite and interest...for some it could be an average , for others, it could be a best suitable job..
