Merit of AD Immigration& Passport?
 

What would be the expected merit of AD Immigration & Passport in Punjab? all candidates who scored atleast 50% marks should be given an opportunity to appear in the interview.

there was one seat, so do the maths, 4/5 persons can be called for interview. best of luck

I just called at PTS LHR office, talked to Officer AMAAR, and asked about merit for Viva. He said, we have forwarded all the list to the concerned Ministry. It's up to them whom they call. Usually, above 50 marks Candidates are called for interview but the final yard stick is derived by the dept. who scrutinize the academia and experience of candidates then call, though a Candidate obtained below 50 marks in written exam. Interview will be conducted after Eid as per Officer's info as well.
However, i got 71.

What were the passing marks? If they follow the pattern like NTS then they should call every candidate who obtained at least 50 % marks....4/5 candidates on a post is a criteria set by ppsc/Fpsc and NOT by PTS....

Department owns DDO power. The Commissions have rules.

If PTS only sends list to the concerned department, then how the department ll know about our academic marks & working experience.?

Only Public Service Commissions are established under sections of our sacred constitution 1973 which keep all documents of candidates and they do not let departments poking their nose into this affairs.Whereas, PTS,OTS,NTS,GTS and BTS do not take pain for viva and forward all data to departments for conducting interviews. So, don't take easy this scene :nono

Please, update others on forum, whenever, you ll receive a call or msg from the concerned department.
