1) the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Ordinance, 2002 (XXII of 2002), the Federal Government is pleased to make the following rules, namely:-

5) “emergency” means natural calamities, disasters, accidents, war and operational emergency which may give rise to abnormal situation requiring prompt and immediate action to limit or avoid damage to person, property or the environment; (5)

7) “value for money” means best returns for each rupee spent in terms of quality, timeliness, reliability, after sales service, up-grade ability, price, source, and the combination of whole-life cost and quality to meet the procuring agency’s requirements. (7)

9) Procurements over one hundred thousand rupees and up to the limit of two million rupees shall be advertised on the Authority’s website in the manner and format specified by regulation by the Authority from time to time. 10) Procuring agencies shall announce the results of bid evaluation in the form of a report giving justification for acceptance or rejection of bids at least ten days prior to the award of procurement contract. (9)

In today paper of Accountant (BS-16),National Highways & Motorways Police, Ministry of Communications
I was astonish to see on the top of paper that Calculator is allowed.....:blink, I'm shocked what?

12-For use of calculator, Follow the instruction given in the syllabus available on FPSC website for the relevant post/subject.

But on the Syllabus there were no mention about whether calculator is allowed or not that shows the lack of paper setting mechanism in fpsc .:nono

Secondly; all i remembered posted on previous posts best of luck...
