State of Pakistan must appoint a retired military general or bureaucrat on the post of Chief Election Commissioner rather giving this portfolio to retired judges. Legislation must be made to lessen the involvement of judiciary in executive matters. This delay in recruitment process is showing the sorry state of affairs. Election Commission plays pivotal role in electioneering. But witnessing such lazy behaviour it may be said that ineptness and inefficiency seems evident. Government must have to look into this matter. It is responsibility and duty of ourselves to comlain it through Prime Minister Citizen Portal. In future, it must be ensured that no retired judge be appointed in such type of departments.
