CAA Interview: Should I appear without a dept permission certificate?

i need suggestion from the seniors and especially govt employess about applying through proper channel.

as i applied for Assistant air traffic controller a month ago in a hurry. when i applied time was short so considering the lengthy official process i didnt applied through proper channel but i mentioned in my application form that i am doing a govt job.

so now i have received interview letter and when i wil appear before the panel atleast they will ask me about the permission certificate.

now whether i should get a dptmental permission certificate or i should appear without it. since i have been doing this job for three years.

The benefit which NOC provides you is that if you leave your current department by applying through proper channel then you can rejoin your previous job uptill one year. Another benefit is that they will pay your providend fund. But if you have not seeked the departmental permission it is not the big deal and it will not play a part in your selection be relaxed. In my opinion the interviewers will definitly ask you about your job but not about the permission. One of my colleagues has came from Auditor General of Pakistan without NOC and he faced no difficulty at all.

There should be no problem. I myself am appearing without any DPC. Some uses as mentioned in the above post by Usman Cheema are what we wish to have this DPC for. Another thing, if in certain cases where you are wanting to have age relaxation, DPC is required strictly. If you come within the age limit, I think non-availability of DPC is no big deal.
