Interview for Post of Assistant in PIA

Have any one some knowledge about the interview call for the post of Assistant in PIA. i have called by them but dnt have any idea of interview taken by the. If some one has knowledge plz share. Thanks

According to my info, 6000 have finally qualified the written test out of 47000candidates & their interviews have been started. I also got letter almost 2 weeks before & appeared for interview on 15th Feb at Lahore office...

It was nothing special, just a formality, bcoz interview was of only for 2 mints.
their commonly asked question was "Y u asked for this particular position" ?
What are u doing now etc. 2 mints complete. Thats sit.
I m really ambiguous about the fair selection and also do not know about the numb of seats. there were a number of interviewee

It is absolutely right that it was 2 to 3 min interview & common questions were asked. In my interview, one of the them asked me to first introduce myself. Then he asked me to explain main functions of HRM in detail (as I ve MBA-HR) & also y I like to join PIA. It took almost 5 min to complete my interview.
As far as selection is concerned, there may be so many other reasons besides corruption. One of the reasons why talented ones r not selected is that they might be over qualified. Head of panel asked me twice y I want to join a position below my qualification rather I should go for officer cadre. Secondly, Other may perform well in interview bcose interviewing person don't need a long time to judge the candidate, 2 to 3 min r enough. Similarly ur luck may be another factor so always be positive & try to achieve goals with ur own efforts along with praying to God.

It means they will not consider MBAs..
The scene was little different at my turn, they asked about my qualification and infect appreciate it and never comment on y m i applying for this post.
Anyhow i m little scared now, I was called by MCB for TBO interview and its result is also not yet declared. some ppl are saying that they have already selected the candidates and dnt bothers the interviews.
i really dnt understand that wut the hell is going on in pakistan.

Questions relating to academic subjects were asked. from management,HRM etc.
All interviews will be conducted by the end of March 2010.

Has anyone idea about the package and facilities for the post of Assistant at PIA?

I ve come to know that selected candidates will be placed in group III with monthly package of approx 15000.
