offers training opportunity to Engineers and Scientists in one year Post Graduate Training Program (PGTP) in Nuclear Technology at Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE), Karachi and CHASNUPP Centre of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT), Mianwali simultaneously. On successful completion of training, the graduates will likely be absorbed against available vacant posts in PAEC. Admission in PGTP will be on merit, based on academic qualifications, aptitude test and interview. The course is expected to begin in June, 2011.
1. ELIGIBILITY.
• All Pakistani Nationals fulfilling the criteria can apply.
• The candidate must have one of the following degrees with first class career, atleast 60% marks (however only one 2nd division is allowed except in the final degree) :

• Candidates expecting completion of their degree requirements by March 01, 2011.

2. FINANCIAL STIPEND AND FACILITIES DURING STUDIES.
• A stipend currently fixed at Rs 15,000/- per month
• Free bachelors hostel accommodation for outstation trainees, subject to availability
• Free Indoor medical treatment and pick & drop transport facility,
3. CAREER AFTER COMPLETION OF TRAINING.
• Appointment as Junior Engineer/Junior Scientist in pay scale SPS-8 (Rs. 12970-740-27770), with admissible allowances as per rules of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.
• Selected Trainees will pledge a bond to serve PAEC for a period of five years after completion of their training. In case if trainee opts not to join PAEC, he will have to pay back the incurred expenditure as calculated by PAEC.
4. HOW TO APPLY.

The bank draft may be obtained preferably from any branch of the National Bank of Pakistan and payable at NBP, KANUPP Branch Karachi (Code-0152). I want to know if I am eligible as I have done Bacholars in Computer Scieces (Hons) which is 4 yr degree program? Secondly I didn't get the pay scale (Rs. 12970-740-27770) what does this mean? What is the gross salary at the start?

these are SPS (special pay scale) not BPS, in addition to that SPS-8 is equivalent to BPS-17.

The written test paper will be MCQ type, containing 100 questions in all. 40 questions will be general in nature from pure/ physical sciences of inter and BSc level. 60 questions will be from the concerned field of specialization of the applicant. Studying intermediate level physics with concepts and application of intermediate level mathematics will be helpful for your general part of the paper.

i have apeared for electronics in 2008. but due to ban only fifteen cannidate were selected in electronics in which two were my friends. There are total 100 question. some general question and some from ur subject. But general question were like precentage, area of triangle. no calculater is allowed. even two or three question came from sample paper. They cover whole subjects in ur test.
