my interview for AATCO was also scheduled on 5th nov. at BBIA, but at 7 pm on 3rd nov. I received a call from CAA that interview has been postponed soon they will inform about new date.

My interview summary
 

[B]My interview was held on 24-Oct-2012 at 1 pm in CAA Headquarters, Terminal 1, Jinnah International airport, Karachi. At that time there were almost 5 candidates were present to appear before the interview panel.

I entered in a big room where the panel was sitting, there were 5 interviwers in the panel.

I entered in the room and said Assalam-o-Aleikum, the head of the panel said have a seat please.

1. Now the head started saying Muhammad Mujtaba Rashid, Domicle; Punjab, NTS marks; 66, how are you Mujtaba?

2. Why do you want to be an AATCO?

3. Tell us about yourself, your family, your hobbies and interests, what you do?

4. You are a government servant, why do you want to leave SUPARCO?

5. What do you do in SUPARCO?

6. Tell us about what an AATCO do?

7. What is the role of Civil Aviation Authority?

8. Do you have knowledge about aviation?

9. Which types of aircraft we have in our fleet?

10. What is ATR engine?

11. What is the location of Bhutan with respect to Karachi?

12. What is the capital of Bhutan?

13. Which countries are the western side neighbors of Pakistan?

14. What is the plural of aircraft?

15. What is the capital of Belgium?

16. Where Sudan is?

17. What is the capital of Sudan?

18. Is Sudan a Muslim state or a christian state?

[B]It is too early to say that what would be the medical requirements of CAA, normally people who have 6x6 vision with glasses are declared as medically fit but you may have to contact CAA HR branch or CAA medical centre for better information.[/B]

My interview is rescheduled on 12 nov, 11am. Lets c, but I think they are taking too much time to finalize again they'll give response after 2 or 3 months.:thinking

I think there is a purposeful delay by the CAA Board to strech it till the end of this government so that once the interim govt takes over they will go ahead with the appointments on merit basis. Otherwise PPP Govt will sell these jobs against 10-15 Lac Rupees. This is my guess !!!!
