Hats off to CAA. The advertised vacancies 04/2011 final selection is still pending and they are taking interviews for advertisement 04/2012 aatco positions.

I gave interview against the 04/2011 vacancies. Now I am quite hopeless about getting any response from CAA.

Recieved the call from HR today for interview for the post of ASO, to report on 29 may @ karachi airport.

It is equivalent to bps14

ATC assistant work both on CONTROL TOWER and RADAR, at Lahore airport 3 months at control tower and 3 months at RADAR. Yes its equal to bps.9 salary 36k per month.

ATC Assistan's basic task is to assist Controllers during their duty and to Coordinate with Defence sectors for all kind of air movements + creating and activating flight plans, preparing strips with estimates, Coordination with adjacent FIR's specially in Karachi by passing and taking estimates from them, finding clearance for non schedule and military aircraft ATC assistant also called FDA at Radar and Tower some where they are called Coordinators as well they also work in Pre Flight Unit and Rvenue by entering daily flight data into specific software and compiling data on register for record.. on remote places mostly ATC Assistant or supervisors work as a Controller on Towers

Just received call from CAA HR. My interview is on 6th June at Islamabad Airport.. Useful suggestion for Interview preparation are required. Please help.
