This is the Syllabus issued by FPSC.

FEDERAL PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
(Curriculum & Research Wing)
Scheme and Syllabi for Screening/ Professional Tests Relating to
Posts Advertised Vide Consolidated Advertisement No. 04/2011

Objective Type Test (MCQ)
Part-I
English =20 marks
Part-II
Subject Test = 50 marks
Part-III
Professional Test=30 marks
Note:
In Language Subjects (Urdu,
English & Persian), English
part for 20 marks will not be
included.
It will be 70% subject Test
and 30% Professional Test

Part-I (Master’s Level) (70 Marks)
English Literature 14th to 20th Century,
Vocabulary,
Structuring of Sentences,
Linguistics,
English Language Teaching,
Grammar,
Syntax,
Diction.

Part-II (30 Marks)
Teaching Techniques and Methodology,
Classroom Management and Discipline,
Testing and Evaluation,
Development of Education in Pakistan.

Though not always but on the average it takes 1-2 months duration. Again, it's not mandatory - the process can take more than 2 months as well.

i think the test will be taken in november last year it was on 9 of november

red max i would like to ask you one thing. i am totally confused how to prepare for the second part although i have done tefl but in tefl also it was more of our pesonal thinking then the book teaching us do u have mcqs regarding that or any book please guide me in that

I have not found a book that may be ascribed as authentic for preparing part-II of the said test. However, there are numerous websites available which can help you prepare it. Just google each topic separately and go through the sample tests or any other reading material you find. This is pretty vague, but that's what we can do without a recommended book. I'll still look for it and if I find one, I'll share the title and author here.
