When and in which newspaper was this post of Public Relation Officer advertised?
These posts were advertised 3 to 4 months earlier, in Jang newspaper I think, I don't remember exactly because I did not give importance to this post and applied casually. Now the test is going to be conducted on 23rd July 2011, and my tet centre is Central Model high school, Rattigan Road, Lahore.

I think the test will be subjective type with short question answers and the expected question are:

1. What are the responsibilities of a PRO?
2. What is the difference between a Public Relations Officer and a Personal Assistant?

(means we should prepare the topic of Public Relation Officer from any good book of Mass Communication)

3. They may ask about Election commission of Pakistan, who is the current Chief Election Commissioner? (Mr. Justice Javed Iqbal, Hon’ble Acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakista)

4. Responsibilities of Election Commission? etc.

Question Paper (test held on 23-7-11)

TEST PAPER FOR PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER (BPS-17)
Total Marks: 100
Time Allowed: 3 Hours

Q-1. Write an essay of 450-500 words in one of the following topics. (30)

a) The recent administrative reforms
b) Social justice in under-developed countries
c) Law of necessity
d) Social factors that promote crimes
e) Islamization of laws in Pakistan

Q-2. Make a precis of the following passage and suggest a suitable title for it. (25)

Those who have the most prejudice seem to be the people who are most insecure people who are afraid, are uncertain about their status in society, and are frustrated in one way or another. Those are the people who use the Negro or Jew or someone else as target for their frustration. Does having prejudice help such scared and frustrated people? Quite the contrary. It acts as a blinder and prevents them from seeing the real cause of their insecurity, and from doing anything realistic about it. Instead they pick out some group to be the scapegoat and the real situation, which is responsible for their insecurity, is left unchanged. Hence, prejudice prevents people from solving their difficulties. Also prejudice warps the personality of one holding it. Hate is destructive and uses up a lot of energy. If energy is used in hating Jews or Negroes there is not much left for constructive and creative work. The prejudiced person becomes small and mean, and the kindlier and cooperative side of his nature becomes dwarfed. It is impossible for him to get along with a wide variety of people, or to mix well with anyone who is different from him.
