Today, on 17th march 2014, supreme court has announced its decision declaring the appointment of previous recruitment illegal and void.
Can we expect that current recruitment process will be completed? |

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Monday has nullified more than 238 appointments in Employees Old-Age Benefit Institution (EOBI) and also ordered an action against responsible for appointment of former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s son-in-law as executive of world bank.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali was hearing heard the (EOBI) corruption case today. After hearing the case, the SC in its short order, nullified 238 appointments and ordered recruitment on vacant seats following rules and regulation and keeping in mind the quota on the posts. The court held Chairman (EOBI) responsible for the next recruitment. The verdict also ordered that appointment of former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s son-in-law Raja Azeem Ul Haq as executive in world bank be investigated within a month and taken action against responsible and submit the report in SC. http://www.thenewstribe.com/2014/03/...ments-in-eobi/ |
