Dear I am working as officer grade II in NBP in karachi on contractual basis for three years. Thats Why I am looking for permanent post. Although the bank will not fire me after three years, but inspite of that I am not satisfied with my current job. I have over two years experience in banking industry.

Research officer in Planning Commission is islamabad based post however,there is option of spouse. if some one is married then he can avail this option to transfer into province on ground of the services of his/her spouse in the province.

Mr. Kashif7 it is FYI that Karachi is not the only urban city of Sindh. Hyderabad and Sukkur are other two main cities of Urban Sindh. Hence, competion for the said post is among the candidates of all three cities.

As Far as my interview experience is concerned it was very good interview penal was very cordial friendly.
There will be three-member penal that will conduct interview from you people that will comprise two members of FPSC and one representative of Planning Commission.First of all they will ask you about your background and education, duties of Research officer and may ask why do you want to join Planning Commission.Then Second Member will ask question from your academic background.Representative of Planning Commission will ask economy and project managment related questions.I will provide all the material to you people for interview dont worry about it.

I appeared from Sukkur center.

I also took the written test from sukkur and came out as sucessfull candidate.Planning Commission and Planning & Development Divsion are same thing.Planning Commission is not an autonomous organization rather it has been given status of Ministry by PMLN govt. Planning and development division has been given status of high policy making institute of the country and will be given power to control the development projects of all the ministries.present government is restructuring whole Planning & Development Division

Then let me pray that I also crack the nut from the same center, of which I am not very optimistic. I count my marks between 75 and 80, although a good score but not good enough to get through it, given only one seat of the post. Hyder how much marks do you think you would have get in the test? and in your time what was the number of seats in the arena?

Dear, this time the test was joke, I have attempted previous two RO, PO tests both were very tough. The competition in this year were high and the must above 90+. its better to be pessimist, and made small optimism from result.

That means I should not wait for the result.
Well, I am satisfied with my efforts, no matter what the result be.
And, if one fails to pass the test, does not mean that the test was difficult, rather it means that the person was not prepared enough to qualify.
But, I am still looking towards the silver linning of the dark cloud.
