yea ultimate i also heard as same as you are...don,t know how much true it is...basically for scholership universities require 50% GAT score remaining depends on your qualification and the purpose of yours study ...

by good preparation and analyse yourself in which categories of test you are weak......lik english, Math, Analytical..........I have got 49 in my 1st attempt...at that time i think analytical is the major portion in which i am much weak......than i started preparing it and got 65 marks and improved analytical portion form 15 marks to 30 Marks....than i think that i am weak in Maths and i was standing at 18 marks in maths.......I have prepared math from different GRE books and also downloaded some topics from Youtube in which i think i was weak......and in the last attempted test i have got 76 total and in math portion i have got 29/30
i have got this much score by self study not got any tuition from any academy or person.

its really impressive,hats off mr.kalyani,please share some use ful links & books from where 1 got some useful tips & material to improve my score.i have NTS guide written by Muhammad idrees & barrons GMAT 13 edition,i downloaded GRE book but its incomplete(no analytical section),so please share your views & suggest some good book & how yoy improve english as well.

for scholarship percentile score is not requires........it require total marks......and Good score in GAT do not gaurantee to win scholarship........HEC announce scholarship people apply on it than HEC shortlist for interview let suppose 10,000 people apply for scholarship than HEC shortlist about 700-800 for interview and than about 50% rejected in interview...As last year for 90% scholarship 110 shortlisted for Germany and 86 appeared in the interview and than only 50 finally selected...
