any ideas about the perks and privileges attached with the railways job on technical side i.e for one who joins in as an engineer.

What a pity...!!!!!!!!

Mr. Mudasir Ahmed (Roll No. 0213/K) was in the list of Rejected Candidates in the Result of Written Examination dated 06th September, 2013, and now he has topped Pakistan and has obtained a seat on Merit.....

God bless him.... But there seems to be something wrong in the process....

Brother, being in the list of rejected candidates does not disqualify a candidate. After personal hearing he might have stood clear in all regards, and hence qualified for the interview. And you please don't get disappointed. Definitely, the Lofty Lord of ours will reward you in some way or the other for your struggles. Best wishes!

I am never ever disappointed. Nor am I against his selection... I have already wished him good luck...

But there seems to be something wrong in the system....
Following is the extract from the Written Result Declaration...

2. 0213/K Mudasir Ahmed Sindh (R) After applying online Hard/signed
application received late by 01 day
from the allowed 10 days from closing
date i.e 21-1-2013.


Do u think one can clarify this in personal hearing?

Yes can claim if you show the original slip of posting within due date issued by pakistan post office or if you dont have the original slip then taking a certificate issued by concerned postal authority to verify that you have posted the documents within the required period
