Statistical Officer (Ministary of Defence)
Two year experience was required by FPSC to be eligible of this post. Many candidates appeared in the test. Now before announcing written result, FPSC demanded requisite documents to validate the eligibility of the candidates. The written test will be announced accordingly. My 5 friends received the same letter.

I have also received the same, however, can we understand that we are among the top merit candidates?

I think the maximum 57 eligible candidates will be called for interview. The letters were sent to the most of candidates (who might secure sufficient marks in the written test) but after determining the eligibility, the relevant candidates will be considered for further process. |
According to latest and updated general instructions to general recruitment that "As per policy of the Commission contained in Para-16 (i,ii&iii) of “General Instructions” to pre-select
candidates for interview, in non-test cases all candidates and in test cases, the candidates from the top merit will be required to furnish attested copies of requisite documents viz; Matric/Intermediate Certificates, Bachelor, Master, M.Phil, Ph.D Degrees with Result Cards/ DMCs etc., CNIC, two photographs, Experience Certificates where required (with exact dates/duration and proof of its being regular full time paid job showing nature of job/ detailed job description issued by an authorized officer of the concerned Govt. Department higher than the status of post applied for and in case of a Private Firm/ Organization, by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Director (HR/ Admn)/ Manager (HR) of the Firm/ Organization concerned with his CNIC No., address & Phone No.), Domicile Certificate, Departmental Permission Certificate (in case of Govt. Servants), copy/ detail of publications/ research papers where required as well as original TR (in non-test cases) etc. within 15 days of Notice from FPSC. The candidates who fail to furnish the requisite documents within stipulated time or furnish incorrect/ incomplete information, their candidature shall be liable to rejection. Therefore, they are advised to get their documents ready for submission to FPSC by the due date.", hence, keeping in view the aforesaid clause we understand that we are among top merit candidates. |

Dear Sohail, there are 19 vacancies of Statistical Officers. Generally, 3 candidates against each post are called for interview. So, at most 57 candidates will be interviewed for the 19 posts of SOs. |
last Monday i phoned FPSC head office for assuring result, they told me after 8 days result will be announce. still waiting till for 8 days let see what will happen.
|
I got the letter for the submission of required document and I submitted the particular documents. Now FPSC has uploaded the list of preselected and rejected candidates. My name is neither in the list of preselected nor in the list of rejected candidates. Has anyone faced the same situation?
|
I am in the list of rejected candidates lacking 2 years working experience. Their criteria of pre-selection is just beside the point.
