Default Does any one know about the test pattern for the post of Cypher Assistant in MoFA?
AoA, it is submitted to all the seniors, staff and members of CSS Forum to kindly post the test pattern for the post of Cypher Assistant under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I shall be lucky enough to be favoured.

Brother, it will be a simple test comprised on general knowlede i.e. English, pakistan study, islamiat and math. Usually the tests for such posts are conducted on the same line. Cypher assistant is hired for communication. You need not to worry about test pattern. Simply prepare above mentioned subjects. As in the advertisement ,typing skill is mentioned so better to practice typing. Probably nothing technical will asked in this test.

brother what type of communication it will be weather it is field job,technical job or office job?

Cypher Assistant is a technical job. All the communications sent from MoFA to foreign missions and vice versa are cyphered and decoded. Cypher Assistant does that. The post is attractive as the cypher assistants are frequently posted abroad.

Last time the test was conducted on computer at the Pakistan Computer Bureau. The test comprised of the subjects mentioned. As well as typing test was conducted on Master Typing Tutor. Your marks in test would determine whether you'll be called for an interview or not.

cypher assistants are mostly deputed in pakistani embassies abroad. I think cypher is a machine which is used for messaging like fax. So it is technical cum office assistant job.

It involves encoding and decoding of messages. In other words encryption and decryption of communication so that it may not be intercepted by unauthorised people. It will be an office job.

i thank you all brothers,,for your cooperation,before your guidence i've no idea about thais post .please tell one more thing k all all the test would be computer based or typing test only..and last time questions came from maths and computer only or other subjects also...if you rememberd?

The test was conducted form above subjects in last batch hiring like gk,eng,maths, it was conducted at ICMAP Karachi.
