Question Officers of Autonomous Bodies
Salams,

I want to know if Assistant Director (grade 7 equivalent to BS 17) in an Autonomous body like EOBI, a Gazetted Officer formally (not commonly)? Can they attest documents which require "Gazetted Officer Class I"?

I heard that only persons selected through any Public Service Commission are listed in Gazette notifications and Autonomous body's employees like EOBI are not Gazetted. What do you think?
