focus on that subject which is relevant to the respective post of educator.
major section of the paper will be from that specific subject on which you have applied.also prepare English,gk,Urdu,ps,maths.
NTS will issue the test pattern near the exam date.

yes many books are available in the market by different publishers..it would be much better for you if you go there and find some best quality stuff by searching.

I would like to share my strategy might be you can get some help from it.
1-studying Carvan's General Knowledge Encyclopedia(also helpful for all types of mcqs test of different posts upto scale 17) for gk.Is,ps maths,etc
2-doing preparation of those subjects in which i am going to apply.e.g,Biology for the post of this subject specialist
