Regular civil officer (BS-17) at Govt of Punjab v/s Temporary (BS-17) at Federal Govt
Productive opinions are needed from everyone, whether a regular/permanent civil officer (BS-17) position at Govt of the Punjab is good to continue or to go for temporary (likely to continue) BS-17 position at Federal Govt?
Please bring all aspects under consideration i.e future prospects, financial matters etc. |

Deputy District Accounts Officer (BS-17), Finance Department, Government of the Punjab, regular permanent. v/s Assistant Director, National Accountability Bureau (BS-17), temporary, likely to continue. Note: At Finance Department, Govt of Punjab, there is sure promotion upto BS-20 (CIOT, Punjab) as being on top of merit/seniority. |
Better to secure a seat at NAB first. However in my opinion, NAB job is much more authoritative and powerful job as compare to Dy DAO. Further NAB job is temporary during probation as other government jobs. After completion of probation period the officer is brought on regular cadre. The perks and privilege in NAB is more as compare to your present job.
