captain is in grade 17
major in 18
and colonel in 19.

they draw salary of these grades.

Unfortunately you are wrong. Army officers have high remuneration package than pitiful govt employees.

well at the moment all the forces academies pay 25000 to each cadet ... after you are commisioned your pay increases to 40000 in army , a little higher in PAF nd about 50 g's in PN.!!!
the most risky life is of an army officer and yet, we are payed less..

Waleed are you serving army personnel? kindly confirm Captain of pak army at which BPS scale 17 or 18?
i have searched it was BS 18.

Caption has 17000 the Basic pay but with the Addition of different Allowances it becomes more than 22,000..
Major jo hota hai uski pay 22,000 say start hoti hai aur
Colonel jo hein unki pay jo Net hai salary hai wo yahin 22,000 say he start hoti hai but inka rank Major say zeyada hota hai issi liye inko Gari/Car aur aik Fully furnished home ki sahoolat bhi di jati hai..Medical facilities and Family Allowances usk ilawa hein...

like civil officers, Army pay has also been revised.
Now Gross salary of Lt is 40,000 to 45,000
and a captain 50,000 to 55,000 incl all allowances.
