As ISSB test result is valid for one year so i tried in pak navy this year on the base of previous ISSB test....i hav cleared initial test and medical test but dint got interview call... nw last week i hav asked from naval headquarter and they replied that u were nt on merit list so i was nt called 4 interview....

AOA,
If you have passed the initial test once then you don't need to take it again for the same course. One can take ISSB test only for two times but If one has got degree of 16 years of education , he can apply for the third time.
This is my information.
Regards

@ sweetie
1- by DSSC in pak-army you must have 16 years of education.
2- after 16 years of education --- u are screened out twice by either ISSB/Inter Service Selection board.... mean that you have exhausted your two chances.
Now, you cannot apply for commission in armed forces of Pakistan. But dont loose heart bro. We have our own paths to choose and go in life but 'Nature has its own mysterious ways'......... ALLAH subhana wa'tallah jo kerte hein hamare haq mein ... usee mein behtaree hoti he.
you have cleared ISSB means that you have the potential to go up in life. .....hard work and pray....... pays back.
wish you best of luck in life ahead.
best regards,
Noman !

you can apply again.those candidates who are twice rejected by GHQ board or twice not recommended by ISSB are ineligible to apply.

@ silent.volcano
Also add 'Screened Out' Twice. The case of sweetie is that he/she has sent forms to naval hq who have screened him/her out.... it is equal to not recommended/rejected
Once you have filled, signed and sent ISSB forms after clearing initial.... it is counted as your chance being consumed. Hence sweetie has consumed his/her two chances after 16 years of education and thus cannot apply again.
regards,
Noman !

Hi
Hi if you are having a postgraduate degree (MA / MSc)
You can apply for Army (Direct Short Service Comission) even if you were twice not recommended by ISSB !

If you were not recommended twice by ISSB after doing MBA (for ordnance corps) then you are ineligible to apply again for commission.
you are recommended by ISSB when you receive a letter in which the words are like :
i am please to inform you that you are "Recommended" by ISSB.
Regards

Yeah, you can apply to Army or PAF based on your MBA finance. provided you were not "rejected" or "not recommended" by the GHQ or ISSB after having your postgraduation!
