please share basic information about ISSB

Friends! what scope is there in Pak Army after Fsc pre-medical? would the ISSB be a better option after pre-medical ??? What is the procedure?? please help me select and get in a better field..

Well mugheera Pak Army is one of the graceful field to prove yourself.. As far as ISSB is concerned, you must should apply for that.. And if you want to continue your studies then you should complete your MBBS and then can join Army as a doctor

Actually my teacher is emphasizing me to make serious attempt for ISSB; even i know nothing about it
anyway, Do you mean that I am not eligible for ISSB? Or it's your suggestion that I should serve in Army after my MBBS? I've heard that one can clear his/her bachelor (even M.B.B.S) by institutes of Army through Army.. Isn't it so? ( Don't mind please if my information are too wrong to hold your LOLZ )

hehehhe Its Ok.. I didn't mean that your are not eligible for ISSB. You must should try for that once so that you ll get the experience of ISSB.

Actually you were asking about the scope of Pre Medical in Pak Army.Thats why I narrated that You are eligible for PMA Long Course after your FSc..
But If you are planning to join Medical Branch then you'll have to gain the MBBS degree.

thanx a lot friends, imtiaz ali, dms664, frnt line worrier and basitcme... i was not expecting that much response.

friends! issb leads to the post of 2nd lieutenant, perhaps! is the second lieutenant only restricted to army? or he can carry on his studies?
actually i'm about to clear my fsc... teachers are insisting to do for issb... if after issb my education ends, it will be a bad option.. what could i do in my educational field after getting in the army? if i try for mbbs or for simple B.A and than masters... my post in army as a soldier will be lost?
can i go on wth the both my studies and post?

Well Brother, u will continue ur study there, Because after your selection, ur graduation will be completed from PMA Kakul. So i would suggest you that go for Issb

no it is inter services selection board so it selects officers for all the three forces. In army after selection you will get the rank of Gentleman cadet and on passing out you will be 2nd Lt. In Airforce you will be pilot officer and in navy midshipman.

About studies you will get a BA, BSC , or BS CS degree from PMA as per your choice of subjects.

your education will not end after you get into the army

First check your aptitude if you are inclined towards medical then do not apply for long course and apply for admission in Army medical college where you will complete your MBBS and then you will be inducted in the army as Captain after 6 months military training at PMA.

You can do what ever you wish. If you join an engineering battalion after passing out they will send you for a BE degree, same goes for signals , eme and other technical arms.

In fighting arms also you will undergo various courses so in army there is more study than civil.
