Initially, you fill the application form(now it's online registration process). At recruitment centre your certificates are checked,if they find you eligible, you will surely be allowed to give tests.
Initial written tests are conducted at first step, those who qualify initial written tests are selected for initial physical test.
After clearing Initial physical test they are selected for medical tests.
After clearing medical test candidates wait for the ISSB call letters.
They take other written tests(IQ + Personality) at ISSB.Those who qualify those written tests stay there for further tests and those who fail to qualify are sent back to their home.
During ISSB each candidate is judged by different psychologists during interviews, discussions etc.Physical tests, command tasks are conducted there.
A report on each candidate is made. Finally, they select candidates from the reports and observations given by psychologists. The selected candidates(not surely selected, but 99 % selected) are re-interviewed by President ISSB, A psychologist is also present there with President ISSB for observation. The final selection authority is with President ISSB.
Short listing is done at each step.ISSB, recommends candidates to GHQ for commission in Pak Army. GHQ send letters to candidates for final medical.
GHQ prepares merit lists based on academic performance, written tests etc. Then candidates are offered to Join PMA.
