a. The Holy Prophet of Islam (صلى الله عليه وسلم):
Perfect personality, Main events of His life, Conception of Sunnah.
b. Brief Survey of the following:

Khulafa-e- Rashideen ) ¦ ( , Ummayyads, Abbasides, Muslim in Spain & North-Africa, post-moghol, Muslim Period (Persia, Ottoman, turks, Muslim in Indo-Pakistan Sub-content),
Islam in the 19th & 20th Centuries. The World of Islam today.




Topic 03. The Holy Quran & Hidiyas, Salient Characteristics:-

a. Its Revelation and Compilation.
b. Certain Basic Principles :

i. Duty towards Allah (Submission to his Laws)
ii. Duty towards Society (Equality, Justice, Haqooqul ebad, Honesty intelectural as well as financials).
iii. Duty towards nature Understanding (through experimentation) conquest & domination of the forces of nature in the service of Allah.
iv. Duty towards self: Moral Development & purification with an object to serve God’s people.

c. Certain Injunctions:

i. Wealth- The permitted way of earning illegal gratification – distribution - Zakaat, Inheritance, Charity, Waqf Interest, giving away of spare wealth.
ii. Concept of love in Islam.
iii. Women: Marriage, Divorce, Polygamy, right to Inherit, Treatment, Education of all human necessity, position of women in Islamic Society.
iv. Administration: Power a trust-selection of an administration, Efficiency and Honesty.

on part I lot of books are available in any market of books. u should have Minhaj ul muslim it contain almost all the topics. for history Rehmat e alam by syed suleman nadvi, or tareekh e islam by mueen ud din nadvi the last one is little comprehensive and contain the brief history of Khilafat, ummayad, abbasiad, and spain u may consult 'tareekh e islam" by dr. abdul rauf it is the most concise history ever written in urdu.

i got to know that B.A islamiyat elective books cover all the topics included in syllabus of ajk psc...

A.J.K P.S.C has been practically neutralized. After has happened on the political front do you expect any thing near hopeful. I do not mean to discourage you but there is clear writing on the wall for all to read .

plz explain....how is it?

A year back I met the former Prime Minister and discussed in detail about my reservations regarding A.J.K P.S.C and he was like why are you so much worried ?. We advertise two seats and more than five hundred people apply. This does not help in eradicating unemployment .We are more interested in hunarmand and sarsabz Kashmir which will be of some help to the young generation. I told him that vacancies are there to advertise but services department is deliberately employing delaying tactics. He said that he had arranged a meeting in Kashmir House to discuss the same matter. I waited in anticipation but nothing happened. The present govt is the extension of the same old policy or so it seems. Lets hope they will do better.
