Over-Weight Issue Non-GD 117

Salam everyone! :))

I appeared in Engineering Branch test and cleared this step. :vic Now I have been given the date i.e 30th Nov for Medical and Interview.
I have a little over weight issue. I am 5'11 and I weigh 82. But don't look bulky at all.
Will they give me time to loose weight?? or what will happen??
Please help.

Regards

Don't worry. This ain't any issue. I was way too much over weight than you, still I made till CMB. But didn't get a final interview call. I thought that might be due to my weight but people said weight is not the key factor in determining merit. They always give time to reduce weight.

Don't know wh I didn't get a call but i will recommend you to loose your weight and put of this tension.

Best Of Luck

brother i am 5'10" with 88 kg and BMI 27.9
To be in normal weight limit, i need to reduce to 79 kg with 24.9 BMI.
I have already started excercising and diet.
I want to know eagerly that how much of a problem would it be in selection as i have my initial academic and intelligence test on 20 dec for PAF 117 non GD IT.
Please respond urgently

It wont be a big problem. FYI, BMI is 23 in armed forces.. so acording to your height max weight should be 70kg

I had the same issue I am from RWP center, I am 10 kg overweight, my medical ws on 1st Dec, i visited I&SC on 18 Dec by reducing 4 kg but they said we need more you to loose the wight, but your weight will not impact on merit list so just keep loosing your weight and if you are shortlisted for psychological test then on test day again check your weight.

So my advice is to reduce as much as you can.
