Future as Lady Doctor in PAF
 

Hi,
I want to ask what PAF hold for doctors/ lady doctors. If get selected what are the chances for them to progress in related field of study. Please share your thoughts on future of MBBS person in PAF vs Civil service, also share salary they offer in PAF and retirement benefits etc.

So many posts for lady doctors in the field of airforce comes. What is your age and have you done just mbbs?

I just need general information regarding this. I am asking for someone else. Age 28 and yes just MBBS.

For people with simple MBBS the only option in PAF is GDMO. Age limit is 24-28 and you must have completed 1 year house job in an institution recognized by PM&DC.
The rank after 20 weeks of training will be Flight Lieutenant which is equivalent to captain (BPS-17).
You get accommodation + medical for your family (spouse, children, parents).

As for your question regarding PAF vs Civil, I'd say PAF has better perks. Plus it is short service commission so you're not bound to serve for life, although once people join they seldom leave PAF/Army for jobs in civil departments.
