Can anyone tell me,wht is the duration ov short service commission in PAF??? I've applied for Flying officer.....in A&SD BRANCH

my uncle is working in PAF as flt lt ,and through him i know that duration of
PAF short service is ten years , and even after that service is extendible .

I think for regular it is 7 years but expendable to 15 years depending on u. They happily extend it if you desire.

The years of service for SSC is generally 14 years give or take a few. duration can be extended also on the basis of your performance. It also depends on whether you are applying in logistics, education, engineering etc. branches of the PAF. Also if the course is special purposes SSC then the duration can be even shorter than 14 years. but one thing is there. you do get a lot of benefits.

Its les than 10 years because after ten yeras of service, its Govt rule to facilitate his servent with pension.
