about short service comission
 

I am new at this site sir sso kindly give a reply to this question that sir if some one apply for a short course at army so can he be shifted to long course after seeing his good performance or is there such an example of this. seeing his good performance can he apply for application to long course. I think you will be getting my point. sir kindly reply at my post and brief me a little:closed

Short service commission is usually required for special purposes or when there is shortage of personnel....and no doubt its service is short..and mostly retire at Major..and you cannot go in long course service from it...but...if you have potential and are hard working....then you do courses and go upto Col or Brig in some cases....
My taya abu got Short service commission 25 years back...and he has retired as Col....

thankyou sir as the meaning I earned from your reply is that having potential can lead to brig and colnel . so hard work is necessary . so doing hard work can lead me to such a high rank

Dear why don't you strive for long services? Any reason for confining youself to short services?

does any one know which rank is given to the graduted course cadets as it is permanent commision after master or bs . captain or scnd leiutenent

waleed i am also twice not recommended in 135L/C and 35th Graduate course. A person can't apply to graduate course if he already twice not recommended . twice not recommended get their third chance in short service commision DSSC.
Graduate course gets you 2nd lieutenant its same as L/c except training period is one year instead of two.
