Next Graduate Course?

I have 2,3 questions.
1) What is difference between SSC and Regular Commission?
2) I am an engineer, and 24 years of age. Can I join armed forces? If yes, in which categories.
I am getting very confused in categories.
3) When is next Graduate course be announced?
