Default Army Education Corps DSSC July 2016
A.o.A!
Is there anyone who can provide authenticated information regarding the promotions in AEC? I have heard 2 things about education corps.
First they don't get promoted after major rank.
Secondly they are not much respected as other fighting arms officers.
Someone with authenticated knowledge please.

Yes MBA (including all like HRM, Finance, Marketing etc) can apply in Management Sciences subject

Promotion Procedure is slow.. Higher Qualification gave edge. Like in normal fighting arms takes 3 to 4 year from captain to major.. but in AEC 7 years (But if you have MS/M PHIL then major in 4 years)
The Value of fighting arms are definitely high. But doesn't mean AEC have no respect. after all rank is rank.

As you said its a non fighting arm, are their some activities other than teaching for AEC?
And what is the maximum promotion possible?
