4.Final Medical

For Final selection,they prepare a merit list after you qualify the final medical, on the basis of your academic performance.

i have applied issb in august 2009, and i was not recomended but yet i have not recieved not recomended letter, i have also informed to kohat selection board , thaey said send application , i have sended application but yet i have not recieved letter now what i do

Never think You can not do, You can do

if you know that you were not recommended once.you can apply again.

did u receive your documents that you gave at ISSB?

With a non-recommendation letter they send your documents back.

Your superb mental and psychological perfomance in Psychological assesment via written and planning tests: to show leadership gutts and Interview leads you to Final interview with commandent assuring your recommendation. This is the criteria from ISSB, it just recommends and final decision is made by GHQ on the basis of recommendation of ISSB and final medical test, which is not a big deal to pass.

Furthermore, the army background and army reference also plays an important role in rocommendation as they simply hate civilians to get commission.

No need of superb mental and Psychological performance.they just need Ordinary people with a natural positive behaviour.Group behaviour is most important in ISSB tests.

Army background do play an important role.But they are not against the competent candidates even if they are civilians.

i am civilian,and i dont have army background,in my family not a single person is in army.But i had been recommended by ISSB for commission in Pakistan Army as Captain.

Dont mislead or under estimate the candidates who are willing to apply for Forces by saying that they are civilians that is why hatred among army or they are least important to them.

I surrender coz you are right and I am wrong. May be I was not so much competent but I was told my result by an official of ISSB that by psychologist, I was strongly recommended and I did 14 obstacles so my physical fitness was favored by GTO. But my mistake, which I don't consider a mistake, was to criticize Zia ul haq for Judicial assassination of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and nominating Army for the failure of Democracy in Pakistan, as they said me to describe this topic. What I presented was wrong? Not a single human being, except Army, says this wrong coz it is written in text books of political science that the first illegal attempt to de-stablize Pakistan was Martial Law. My other mistake was to say, "Let me complete, Sir" to Commandent when he interrupted. Then same line to GTO but using him instead of me, "Let him complete, Sir", when our leader was presenting the plan before GTO and he said him to stop after just one line with time mistake.
These mistakes lead me to Not-recommendation by Commandent. So, isn't an example my dear Captain?

But ofcourse, now I am thankful to Allah on not being recommended. It is my personal opinion, others can differ.

i do not want to drag you in complexities.it was past.but according to my observation :

A simple rule is that Do not ever criticise the institution for which you have applied or want to serve.that was a mistake on your behalf.dont blame army or any institution for your mistakes.that is a trick played by every institution during psychological assessment whether a person can defend the institution or not.now i think you are going to appear for CSS.i would suggest you not to re-iterate the mistake.

During psychological you should always behave positively.the attitude you showed was negative.

I don't think that I use to repeat my mistakes. It is a good suggestion but not new for me.
May I ask that to whom who did mistakes in Army: Gen Yehya Khan, Gen Ghulam Muhammad, Zia ul haq, which authority is there to criticize them where they spoiled the country politically. And does criticism to Army personnels mean to criticize Army institution? As, I am a student of BBA and MBA so better than me who can know this rule. I kept it as my right to speak against mistakes of those personalities not against Army. You got my point bro?
And I was told that it was my plus point to dare to speak, not negative. What negative was the writing of luck, as I am not born to join Army and I know it well.
