I am 23 and am a software engineer.

Where I can apply in Pak Army?

you are eligible for PMA long course, graduate course and Short service commission.

assalam alikum, seniors i want to ask that is there is way to join Pak Army at the age of 28 ? when candidate have double masters degree ..

Dear Bro,
Its depanding upon yours degree. You can only go for services like education, medical or Engineering core.

@arsalan Thanks bro , well I am masters in commerce ( m.com ) and masters in criminology so now there is a way ? And what about PMA course ?

24 and 25 years are age limit for pma long and graduate course.
as far as i know about inductions there is not any special induction for m.com or mba guys, they only induct engineers doctors and instructors ( M.A Islamiat, English, Pak studies ) after 25 years of age.

I have 2,3 questions.
1) What is difference between SSC and Regular Commission?

2) I am an engineer, and 24 years of age. Can I join armed forces? If yes, in which categories. (All Army, PAF , and Navy)

I am getting very confused in categories.


3) When is next Graduate course be announced?

SSC is offered after 16 years of education in Army for specific field for example engineering, medical, education etc and you will get the rank of captain after 6 months training. This is also regular commission.
Regular commission(PMA long course) is offered after 12 years of education and and you will be 2nd lieutenant after 2 year of training.

Yes you can apply for SSC in engineering branch.

Graduate course can be announced any time, there is no time frame for that. Only PMA long course and SSC are announced regularly on almost pre-defined dates.

I just have two more little queries.

My CGPA is 2.19 which is less than 60 % marks. Will I be eligible for SSC Engineering?

Secondly, what about Air Force and Navy? Can I apply there in any categories.

They all demands 2.5 CGPA out of 4.
