i am doing INDUSTRIAL engineering( sub field of mechainical engg) ..............can i apply for short service commission??? or i have to do MS in mechanical engg first??

Default Query to Codename Hijazi
Aoa Codename Hijazi Brother.My friend appeared 2 years back in ISSB but couldnt manage to clear.Now he wants to appear again.But the problem is this that now they changed their edu criterion from 2nd division to 1st division in Inter.So can he go directly to ISSB for the 2nd time or he has to appear in Preliminary again.Regards!!

I don't think so.. as EME core needs mechanical engineers

Default Issb for short service commission
Salaam,

I applied for Short Service Commission in Pak army as captain in corps of Signal .
Passed the initials test and submitted the issb form about a month ago.
I want to know
1) when should I expect my ISSB call letter?
2) Is ISSB test dimension different for SSC. Just read a post on a forum,someone said only interview will be held in ISSB for SSC(no,psychological/GTO tasks).

Please give me the reply

is is all right,if I jot down these
MERTITS:
I am highly adaptable to diverse conditions
Always try to be self relied and self dependent
At good making friendships
Manage my time and work well
I listen more than speak

DEMERITS:
I am workaholic
Sleep late at night
Use too much internet
Give less time to my family

Kindly guide me through this

well you should change this , because your merits and demerits are contradict with each other
1- At good making friendships ----->Give less time to my family , how this is possible , if a person not able to give time his or her family how he can be a good friend.
2-Use too much internet------> if you are using internet , then how you can be able to give times to your friends ?

Try to be self-reliant and self-dependent

Respect the views of others
Good future management

Demerits:
Workaholic in research
Sleep late at night
Get a little bit confuse while taking presentations
Feel jealousy on other's achievements
Excessive use of computer
Secular mindset
Give less time to my family
A little bit miser in spending money
