Depends on your age and your field of study.Generally,the maximum age limit for short service commission is 28.

yes u can

Surely u can join till the age of 35 even..but if any seats r advertised for the field in which u have done Phd. These r normally Captain rank posts in army education core i guess..

35 is for army medical corps.For education corps,age is 28.
