i have come to know from some resources inside that people have joined the posts and started there jobs too... hence its an advice that not to wait for the results and move on ... Best of luck

I am serving in a govt. Dept from last 6 years and someone had given me same advice not to wait for the post on which I am serving as the same is already filled. Don't loose hope.
