Short service commission
 

im a civilian and just got to know about the short service commision. i have few questions and would appreciate it if someone can answer. kind regrads.

1. what is th ae limit? i hear its 35 (i inted to apply in computers department)

2. will the select be sent to kakul for trainig?

3. will the selected wear a uniform?

4. wat corp ofarmy will the selected be attached to?

5. will he b able to request transfer toa fighting rm o the army later on? or getting trainings which are meant for the fighting arms? like pra qualificatin? scba qualification? or mountain climbing qualification?

2) there will be 6 month training at kakol
3) yes they wear uniform

5) no they can't go for war (i thinks so )

Weight requirement plz help
 

Hello everyone, my younger brother passed intelligence and academic test of logistics branch. Now he is upto his initial medical examination. What is the maximum weight requirement with respect to 5 feet 8 inches height. Is there any relaxation if a candidate is over weight because it is short service commission ?

i dont know the exact weight.but they do give u relaxation upto the caliper if they seem some one can improve his health.
in our medical one was given relaxed to 5 kg.and another was upto 3 kg.

Hi Zain,
There is no exact criteria but they have BMI (Body Mass Index) table according to which any candidate has weight limit according to his / her height.
Relaxation can be given as weight is a changeable thing & they ask to reduce it or increase it in one or two weeks.
