Job Duties: (i) Assistant Director performs duty as Officer Incharge of Police Station Anti Narcotics Force.
(ii) Monitors and collects information on the activities of drugs traffickers/drugs trafficking organizations and carries out operations leading to seizures of Narcotics drugs and arrests/apprehensions of drug traffickers.
(iii) Investigates/supervises investigations of narcotics cases registered in the ANF Police Station under his command and coordinates prosecutions of the cases with ANF Prosecutor in the CNS courts.
(iv) Corresponds on the issues related to his Police Station with his respective HQ and performs other tasks like Staff Work. Instructional and Administrative assignments etc.
Job status: Temporary
Eligibility: Both male and female candidates are eligible
Any relaxation, whether in Minimum or Maximum age limits). five (5) years general relaxation.
Min Age: 22
Max Age: 30
Qualification/Experience required: Second Class or Grade‘C’ Master’s Degree or degree in Law or equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Domicile: MERIT=1, PUNJAB=2, SINDH(R)=1, KHYBER_PAKHTUNKHWA=1,

No idea abt the syllabus but focus on english, math, General Knowledege as it constitutes major portion of such types of paper i.e 100 Mcqz. even if law is included, we would have enough time to prepare the law portion.

P.S: If any member on forum know about the syllabus for the above mentioned post then kindly share.

the syllabus would be
investigation chapter of criminal procedure code
basic knowledge of qanun-e-shahdat order
// ////////////////// pakistan penal code
/////////////////////Narcotics substances act of 1997
effects of illegal/drug money
hazards of drugs for public
major drug producing countries and international drug route

ALL the paper would be cpmrised of 100 MCQS

I think MBBS can apply however will be spoiled in the Organization.

Degree in law means LLB. Master degree holder in any discipline can apply.

i had applied for twice in ANF for the post of A.D and INSP. The candidate having master degree in any subject with 2nd class or who have done LLB is elible for the post.

simply you have masters or you have LLB. if you have both like i have you will be prefered. nothing else.

Apply Online is must now no need to send hard copy to FPSC
 

From April 2013, FPSC decices to take all application online. There is no need to send hardcopy of the printed form or manual form to FPSC.

Any update on when they are going to conduct the test for Assistant Director Narcotics Force position? Btw! why am i so anxious about this test, there are only two positions available in Punjab, So getting In is like finding a Needle in Desert!

Basic information is given below.

AD is normally placed as head of a Police Station!
AD wears a uniform similar to the one which DSP of Police uses.

AD may also be placed in HQ, Reg. Dir.(RD) or the Academy.

You will have to serve any where in Pakistan.

Initial allocation is made for 3 years.
If you are placed in 'hard' area then you will transfer to 'soft' area after 3 years.

When you join you agree to terms and conditions of the job.

In addition to the above you also SIGN a BOND of 10 years that you will not leave or resign ANF till expiry of such period.

You will promote in accordance with rules and availability of vacancies and in ordinary circumstances become Deputy Director/Joint Director at maximum.

I would be Flying like a Bird when the result be announced! Hoping to do good next time :D didn't even read a single word to prepare for the exam :(
