Heartiest Congrats to all particularly Sabir Bhai. I was expecting around 85/100, could not make. I remember, I was indicated by you for creating a redundant thread in AD IB, your remarks still make me smile. God bless you brother, may you have many more.

By the grace of Allah Almighty, got short listed for further processing...
Also I wrote letter to Secretary as well as Chairman FPSC on 04.01.2016... Dated: 04.01.2016 To, The Chairman, Federal Public Service Commission, F-5/1 Aga Khan Road, Islamabad. Subject: REQUEST TO ACCELERATE RECRUITMENT PROCESS Respected sir, Please refer to the Recruitment Policy/Notification No. F. 1/29/2014-T&S-Coord. on the subject “Improving the selection process for General Recruitment for the posts in BS-16 to BS-21 conducted by the FPSC” issued by The Federal Public Service Commission on 18.07.2014 (copy enclosed). The Section D of the policy reads as “The Secrecy Wing shall be responsible to compile the result of MCQs in case of BS-18 and BS-19 within one week as these are compiled on Optical Mark Reader Scanners and in case of BS-16 and BS-17, within three weeks of the date of holding the Screening Test. In case, it requires more OMRs, these may be procured to accelerate the process.” First of all, it’s worth mentioning that FPSC holds Screening Test for a particular post usually 3 months after the closing date of the advertisement. In some cases, it holds the Screening Test even 4 or 5 months after the closing date of the advertisement. Despite the fact that FPSC receives all applications online, it takes a lot of time to conduct exam. This practice spreads a lot of frustration among the candidates. As soon as the exam is held, then comes the issue of result announcement. The candidates have to wait for 4 to 6 months for the announcement of Screening Test result. The Commission declared clearly in the recruitment policy mentioned above that it shall ensure the compilation of MCQs type test result for BS-16 and BS-17 within three weeks of the date of holding the Screening Test. But, here is the true picture of the Commission’s performance before and after this policy. FPSC’s PERFORMANCE BEFORE AND AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECRUITMENT POLICY Sr. No. Ad. No. Post Opening Date Closing Date MCQs TypeTest Date Result Date 2nd Test Date Interview Date Final Result Date Before Announcement of Policy 1 11/2012 Inspector ASF (Case No. F.4-158/2012-R) 01.11.2012 19.11.2012 21.02.2013 14.05.2013 N.A. 08.10.2013 06.11.2013 2 01/2013 Assistant Director in FGO (Case No. F4-19/2013-R) 03.01.2013 21.01.2013 30.06.2013 04.10.2013 04.11.2013 18.03.2014 21.06.2014 After Announcement of Policy 3 3/2015 Assistant Director in FGO (Case No. F4-26/2015-R) 26.02.2015 16.03.2015 07.06.2015 22.10.2015 28.12.2015 Awaited Awaited 4 7/2015 Appraising/Valuation Officer (Case No. F4-82/2015-R) 01.07.2015 27.07.2015 15.09.2015 Awaited Awaited Awaited Awaited 5 8/2015 Inspector FIA (Case No. F4-123/2015-R) 30.07.2015 17.08.2015 21.12.2015 Awaited Awaited Awaited Awaited 6 8/2015 Assistant Director FIA (Case No. F4-111/2015-R) 03.09.2015 21.09.2015 22.12.2015 Awaited Awaited Awaited Awaited We can get more clear picture of the issue by comparing the performance of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) with Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). PPSC announces the result of small cases in 4 or 5 days while that of large cases in 15 to 20 days and for extra large cases it takes almost one month to declare results. For example, PPSC advertised 199 posts of Headmaster/Deputy Headmaster in The School Education Department. The closing date for submission of online Application Forms was 28.09.2015. PPSC received almost 45,000 applications. The Screening Test was held on 22.11.2015 and the result of the Screening Test was announced on 22.12.2015. The detailed performance of PPSC’s recruitments for the year 2015 is given in a separate page enclosed with this letter. FPSC’s performance is also much poor as compared with National Testing Service (NTS). The Punjab School Education Department announced 29,822 posts of Educators through NTS on 05.11.2013. The last date for submission of manual application forms was 20.11.2013. NTS received 5,93,115 applications and it uploaded the final lists of eligible and rejected candidates on its website on 18.12.2013. In this way, NTS entered the data of such large number of candidates manually in only 28 days. NTS declared 5,43,964 candidates eligible and 49,151 candidates rejected. The Screening Test was held in batches from 28.12.2013 to 31.12.2013 (04 days). NTS declared the result of 5,43,964 candidates on 09.01.2014 (in 9 days only). This is the shear violation of FPSC’s own Recruitment Policy and also violation of Establishment Division’s O.M. No. F.53/1/2008-SP dated 22.10.2014 on the subject “Recruitment Policy for the Federal Services/Autonomous Bodies/Corporations” directing Ministries/Divisions/Attached Departments/Subordinate Offices/Autonomous Bodies/Semi-Autonomous Bodies/Corporations/Companies/Authorities etc. to complete recruitment process within 60 days from the date of advertisement (copy enclosed). If NTS can compile result of 5,43,964 candidates in nine (9) days, why FPSC cannot compile result of 30 or 40 thousand candidates in three (3) weeks? This is all about FPSC’s recruitment performance which is a prime recruiting agency, specially constituted for the sole purpose of public sector recruitments. I respectfully request you to accelerate the recruitment performance of FPSC to save candidates from going into melancholy and frustration. |
