Dear all who have been pre-selected for Inspectors (Investigation) in FIA and seniors who have undergone the whole process previously please share your knowledge and experience regarding upcoming [I][B]Physical Tests[/B][/I] and [I][B]Interviews[/B][/I] so that we can find some help to prepare well for the coming phases.

To start with, can anyone tell what Physical Tests would comprise of and when should we expect them?

Does Any preselected candidate received call from FPSC or FIA for physical test .... Anyone know about the Date ?

I have not received pre selection letter yet.What should I do ?

I think they are not posting pre-selection letters to everyone as otherwise we all would have received them already. However, it is important to keep track of the call letters for Physical Tests which we are likely to receive shortly as per intimation being given in the pre-selection list that reads [U][I][B]"All pre-selected candidates will be called for physical fitness tests to be conducted/arranged by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) shortly. Only those candidates who found physically fit by FIA will be called for interview as and when scheduled".[/B][/I][/U]

So kindly keep posted here if someone receives any further correspondence by the FPSC/FIA.

Physical fitness means height 5'7" & 33"-34 1/2(with expansion). Chest size for male candidates only.

These are Minimum Physical Standards which they may verify on the Physical Tests day but I believe we can't call that Minimum Physical Standards verification as Physical tests. The word "tests" implies that there must be some tests too in addition to this verification. May be a race or something alike.

Seniors may come forward to clear the air please.

What is the pay and career prospects of Inspector FIA ? Is this post is better than Inspector police ?

Salary is 40k+. Inspector F.I.A and Inspector Police both have their own dimensions. Ins. F.I.A is primarily an investigation officer where as Ins. Police is a watch and ward officer , a security officer, an intelligence officer and an investigation officer too. Ins. F.I.A being a federal investigation officer has to indulge in high profile cases of their own nature limited by schedule given in F.I.A act. Where as inspector in Police enjoys the power of general executive cadre. He often deputed in F.I.A , Anti corruption, NH&M.P. Promotion in case of F.I.A is very slow than Police.
