I failed to apply online before last date, while I had paid my fees well before last date. Is there any way that I can still apply for these jobs?

You may call them and ask. I read somewhere in instructions that those who couldn't apply online due to some circumstances(they mentioned inaccessibility of internet) can submit their written application to FPSC. I think you should try this.

But it's really incomprehensible that registration of such a test is just opened for few days. Best organizations in the world search months and months to hire the best talent and here we are where FPSC just allows narrow windows to apply for high level posts in crucial organs of the state.

2 weeks is ample time considering it takes 5 minutes to apply online and, let's say, 45 minutes to submit pay the challan form.

If someone is lazy enough to not apply in within the given 2 weeks, then they probably don't belong in any crucial organization of the state anyway.

That's like an officer mindset--good. So you mean other institutions/corporations in the world are lazy and inefficient? FYI, their process is even easier than FPSC and still they've longer period to apply.

Or have you ever heard people could be travelling? Or closing important projects at their workplaces unaware of how their kids look like? Or admitted to hospital for a surgery? Don't assume that everyone is sitting at home waiting for these jobs to open or that everyone has the liberty to keep following newspapers every first week of every month of their lives because there is no set schedule of when these jobs are announced, they are abrupt and (too)short-lived.

Two weeks are more than enough to apply online for any Post through ppsc or Fpsc.Candidates laziness actually shows how weaker they are inside.To apply they want last date to come then suddenly they become restless.

Two weeks are enough..if someone has so much others work to do that he cant manage 1 hour in 336 hours then he does not deserve to compete with others...laziness is biggest evil in life and ruined many careers and life
