Default Difficulty of AD FIA exam
It seems that AD FIA exam is far more difficult to pass than CSS because of just 11 seats available in FIA as compared to CSS where up to 250-300 candidates are selected. Although the FIA exam is just one paper of 100 MCQs but competition seems to be very tough.

I think candidates who were already preparing for CSS/PMS exams are at serious advantage than candidates like me who're just appearing in this exam from no where. I'm finding it very difficult to memorize anything, from English synonyms/antonyms to Pak Studies to General Knowledge, the volume just seems so huge.

I'm trying my best but do you guys think a candidate like me still stands a chance who started preparation in December?

Any views or tips or suggestions?

Default How much you guys are studying?
How many hours candidates in this group are studying on average?

I've a full time job so I start at 6-7pm till midnight and on weekends I try to put in 10 hours each. I may take two weeks off from office before the exam. Can this effort translate into a pass? Did anyone have had such experience?

Just have faith in your abilities and always remember that Almighty is going to have best plans for you .Just try your best and leave the rest up to HIM .
When it comes to preparation every one has different mind set and stamina so it varies from individual to individual .There are many officers who qualified CSS with a full time job as it is about time management and handling the pressure better .

Thanks bro for replying and encouragement. I see you're earlier member of the member like me and perhaps that's why you cared to reply. I see the new members are not as active on the forum as members used to be in old days. I think they're moving towards facebook/whatsapp platforms and underestimate the jewel this forum is.

given time by FPSC for preparation of AD FIA and Inspector FIA is insufficient due to vast field of mcqs general knowledge paper.

Competition is quite high and vacants are not enough.I am a job holder and finding it difficult to get through the exams. I also have a view that we still have much time to crack the exam.

The time is really insufficient to crack this exam . Those who are new will face lot of issues while preparing exams . Let’s c hope for the best .
