Process of AD Investigation FIA
Hi guys. Assistant Director (Investigation) BS-17 FIA were advertised this month. I have never applied to a job through FPSc before. Would someone be so kind to tell me the timeline of induction for this post?
Advertisement says tests would start in September 2019. How long after the test is the interview and what is the detailed syllabus to prepare? Thanks |

Tenzok,
This is Pakistani bureaucracy exam that runs on 100 years old system so they can't tell you for sure. Sometimes it takes less than a year and sometimes it can delay up to 2 years. The problem is, they never give you a date of anything and just ask you to wait for further notification, meaning you keep checking fpsc website on your own. Anyways, here's how it usually looks like 1. Initial test date, at 15th Sep or can get delayed 2. Result of test, anywhere from 2 months - 1 year. Keep burning 3. Interview date after test date, keep waiting, 1 month to 3 months, 4. After interview keep waiting for shortlisted candidates to submit documents and medical 5. Final announcement, keep waiting, 1 or 2 months You must be thinking how a candidate who's looking for a job can withstand all this, the answer is, normally all such govt. job candidates are also appearing in other exams being held in the meanwhile. And because there is quite overlap in the syllabus, they get polished aur kisi na kisi exam main pass ho hi jatay hain. |

After the leakage of FIA paper and subsequent announcement for descriptive test, there is no second opinion that the whole procedure span over not less than 1.5 years. So keep looming in the dark.
