Everyone has own priorities. I prefer this service to various 17 scale posts regardless of perks. I am also at a coveted 17 scale post in the Provincial Government but will go for it if get a chance. However,it is next to PMS/PCS. If you have a chance for PCS then do avail yourself of that but without abondoning it (AD, FGO).

My test is also on 28th December in Karachi. I hope the syllabus is announced on Monday.

Brothers, being a Federal Government department, wouldn't it be "better" than PCS? At least, that seems to be the case for those with Sindh domiciles.

Also, is anyone aware of the service structure of IB?

AD - Grade 17
DD - Grade 18?
Director - Grade 19?

Both of you might not have been short listed for the next phase. The documents were demanded from some extra candidates and if everybody had sent the documents then they had to drop some from low in merit list.

i got text message yesterday but couldn't find case number in test schedule. but now i have downloaded my admission certificate :) test centre is Lahore. aur kiska lahore main hai?
