Please discuss English descriptive test. I don't know the syllabus and important topics for essays. Please suggest books

let's forget about screening test marks. focus on english descriptive test as it will be the next step.

I have heard fpsc will further drop candidates from the list of 312 to make it 1:8 i.e. people who will sit in the descriptive test against total number of seats available which in this case are 30...so my question is what approach will fpsc adopt to drop these extra 72 candidates?
