And why so many islamiyat questions ??

I am thinking the same. Knowledge of Islam is good but it was irrelevant in regard to IB posts. It should be there definitely, but not more than 10-20 mcqs.In the syllabus it was written that Equal weightage for each topic at Part-II, but it was not followed.

I felt like I was giving some paper of Islamiat.

Guys , this papers had multiple bloopers.
Syllabus:
1st , the syllabus given include question from
Basic Math + current affairs + Pakistan Affairs + Everyday/General science + Islamic studies . with equal waitage
Islamiyat question cannot be more than 20 or even 10 as it was written with P. A. , but they were.
Current Affairs was not present , just may be a little trace , EDS absent Math question were only 18. (Q 21. to 38.)

Most Importantly GK was not even mentioned but was present.


Wrong answers/ Questions:

Q 29. or 28. and 32. had wrong answers given.
Q. 29 asked GCF from two numbers obtained after subtracting two remainders.
(Logic : Simple seeing at options of factors , the remainders were larger, )

Q. 32 , Numbers divisible by 2,3,7 between 160 and 500. were 8 , but choice of 8 was not present.

Other questions discussed by other candidates ,
Burj Khalifa not in answers of the Question which asked tallest building of the WORLD. Remember World was mentioned.

Q. of Largest Mosque by Area in World , Real answer was Imam Reza Shrine not in options I think. or Masjid-e-Haram

Q about Eiffel Tower , Both option were Paris and France
Can anyone Tell the exact wording if correctly remembered, I think they only asked that where is the Tower located/ situated. : If they Somehow asked about (uses the word in question as) City / country/State, Than the answer was simply one.

Q. 15 August Independence day of India , is also of.
(Korea , both North and South ,are right and given I chooses South)
This question was not even ambiguous.


Now What will be the Merit for next test and how much are your expected marks.
I expect 60 + marks (+- 5).

Now how can we be ready for this:
To short list the candidates at first stage MCQs Screening Test shall be held. Thereafter
English subjective test of 100 marks will be conducted for preselected candidates at the ratio
of 1:8 (eight candidates per post) with qualifying standard of 50% marks.


Preselected? I wonder is that only mean on merit.

Nd batch 2 r expecting above 85 so what about that?
