In a verb clause, Lest is followed by only one auxiliary verb "SHOULD"
But its not necessary that an auxiliary verb must follow Lest.... In some cases, lest is used without any auxiliary verb.

Except in conditional sentemces. The link you have givenndoes not support your argument though.
