I underwent this painful process yesterday. I had 2 years experience as Excise & Taxation Inspector (BS-14) and 6 years experience as Assistant Director Population Welfare (BS-17). The committee informed me that they had accepted two years experience of Excise & Taxation but cannot accept experience as A.D Population Welfare as according to them it was not relevant to the advertised post.
I asked them FPSC is a body which conducts competitive examinations. If someone is working in the finance department of FPSC then what would be his nature of experience. The committee replied that definitely "Accounts". Then I told them that I have experience of working at different positions of finance department of Population Welfare. Since I had an experience certificate highlighting my job description like implementation of population policy, monitoring & evaluation, financial management & preparation of auditable accounts. The told me that they wanted candidates working in accounts in full time not in addition to some other job like me. Another member remarked that if his case is considered true then every teacher would claim that apart from teaching he looks after the accounts.
The committee was unwilling to accept even my on-job trainings on financial management. I told them that they were actually searching for a tag of Accountant and I am A.d.
Finally, the chairman told me to send to FPSC a certificate in which your experience as full time accounts officer be declared. Also he was requiring the notification of posting on such post. Now I have applied in my department for all these notifications and will send to FPSC when made available.
An other candidate of personal hearing had 3 years of FIA experience but had less than two years of experience in other private organisations. He too was rejected.
He told me that a provisional list of 39 successful candidates has be made public by FPSC on her website. In addition to these 21 candidates are undergoing personal hearing. So the final list may be published when this process ends.

Assalamoalikum,

by reading these posts, I think there is no chance for me. If they have already selected persons, then why are they conducting hearings? Is there any lucky person who has been interviewed after hearing?
In my view, provisional list doesnot mean that they all have been selected. Isnt it?

FPSC has announced Interview/Personal Hearing program for various posts at different centers but personal hearing for the post of AD (FIA) (Peshawar Center) has not been sechuled as yet. Can any one confirm date of personal hearing for the post of AD (FIA) at Pesh. Center??? What about personal hearing at other centers for the said post.

I have called FPSC today. Mr. Saleem Akbar was on leave and another official told me that you will be definitely called for hearing if you have submitted an appeal.

What objection FPSC has written in your letter? What is your experience?

I had a total of about 7 years experience in three different organizations:
1. Private Sector (3 Years 02 months)
2. Public Sector BPS-11 (2 Years 02 months)
3. Public Sector BPS-17 (02 Year till closing date)
My candidature was cancelled due to short of experience by 01 Year 10 months and 25 days. The reason might be that I had not submitted experience certificates of both public sector organizations on FPSC's format. I had obtained certificates from my employers on FPSC's format. My candidature will be resotred if atleast one of my public sector's exp. is counted. My current job is mainly related to recovery.

As far as I can figure out, any one of your experiences has not been considered by FPSC. This can be either due to irrelevance of that experience to the experience required for AD (FIA) or that post experience is deemed by FPSC to be not equivalent to BPS-11 as required for AD (FIA). You will have to prove relevance as well as equivalence (BPS-11) of your experiences.
On my hearing day, one candidate was rejected only because FPSC considered one of his experience not equivalent to BPS-11.
Even I had not submitted my experience on FPSC Experience Form but they considered it. So this my not be the case.

My centre for written was Multan. I am waiting for hearing date and the reason was that my documents couldnt be delievered to FPSC. They sent me roll no.slip only on the basis of online application. What about ur hearing?
Is anyone there lucky enough to be interviewed after hearing?

There is another personal hearing notice on FPSC website. Only seven candidates have been called at Lahore.There is only hearing schedule this time but no interview date. It seems all the candidates who are being called for hearing have solid reasons to be rejected. Its my idea only.
